It all started with a simple search to see where I could go and for how much. At first, it was all a pipe dream. “Hey, I could live in Thailand for like six months for a fraction of my overhead in Victoria. Hur hur hur.”
Turns out I was right….
So today I quit my job.
No more reading travel blogs and living vicariously through them. No more 9-to-5, no more coffee break chit chat. I packed my bag, sold my stuff, and now I’m on the road for the next foreseeable future. I’m about to embark on a six-month journey.
I don’t quite know where else I’m going to go while I’m in SE Asia, but I’m doing it. Bali? The Philippines? Who cares. The flight leaves in 33 days.
So here it goes… I’m putting my Journalism degree to good use and beginning my next great adventure. Let’s pair a gift with words with some marketing mavenry and a dash of gypsy spirit and take this show on the road.
This is my move to Digital Nomad.
Driven by a passion for travel and all things marketing. Fuelled by tea and sarcasm, she’s a gypsy at heart with a knack for telling stories.
